Privacy Notice

1. What data we process

This is an information-only website with no contact forms. We process personal data only when you contact us:

• Contact and communication data you send us via WhatsApp, email or phone (name, contact details, content of the message).
• Technical browsing data automatically recorded by the web server (IP address, date/time, pages requested, browser type) in technical logs, for the operation and security of the site.

2. Purposes and legal basis

• Replying to your enquiries about puppies and the kennel — steps taken at your request prior to a contract (art. 6(1)(b)) and our legitimate interest (art. 6(1)(f)).
• Operating and securing the website — legitimate interest (art. 6(1)(f)).
• Providing your data is voluntary; without your contact details we simply cannot reply.

3. Retention

Messages and contact details are kept for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and at most 24 months after the last contact; if a puppy is purchased, contract and tax records are kept for 10 years as required by law. Server logs are kept by our hosting provider for security purposes for a limited period. Data are then deleted or anonymised.

4. Recipients

Data are not disclosed to the public. They may be processed on our behalf by technical providers (in particular our hosting provider Aruba S.p.A., Italy) acting as processors. Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd (WhatsApp) and TikTok Technology Ltd act as independent controllers when you contact or follow us on their platforms. We do not profile users.

5. Third-party services

• Map: the Contact section of the home page embeds a map by OpenStreetMap (OpenStreetMap Foundation, UK). When the map loads, your browser requests map tiles from OSMF servers, which receive your IP address; no cookies are set and the referring page is not sent. OSMF privacy policy.
• External links: the WhatsApp, TikTok and “Directions” (Google Maps) buttons are plain links; nothing is transmitted until you click them, after which the respective platforms' policies apply.
• Fonts are self-hosted (no connection to Google Fonts).

6. Transfers outside the EU

The United Kingdom (OSMF) is covered by the European Commission's adequacy decisions. If you contact us via WhatsApp or visit our social profiles, Meta and TikTok may transfer data outside the EU/EEA under their own safeguards (standard contractual clauses / EU-US Data Privacy Framework), as described in their privacy policies.

7. Your rights

You may at any time exercise the rights under arts. 15-22 GDPR (access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, portability) by writing to info@miniatureamericanshepherds.it. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian supervisory authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (www.garanteprivacy.it), or with the authority of your country of residence (art. 77 GDPR).
